Dr. Julia Van Pelt
Dr. Julia Van Pelt is a licensed psychologist who earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Georgia State University. She went on to earn a doctorate in clinical psychology from Forest Institute of Professional psychology.
She is adept at providing specialized treatment with sexual offenders and individuals with sexually compulsive behaviors. From her years in forensic settings including the Ann Klein Forensic Center, Dr. Van Pelt has considerable expertise in conducting a variety of forensic psychological evaluations including those for Competence to Stand Trial, Risk of Sexual and Non-Sexual Violence, Fitness for Duty, and Malingering.
